Chris Dodd, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, released his bill yesterday to change the current regulation of the financial sector. The bill creates new authority of supervision of banks’ risks and rule-writing powers over various financial products such as loans. The House of Representatives has already passed a bill on financial reform.
