Bring the World Cup Home

Now that the 2010 World Cup is over, we can focus on an even more significant event, the 2018 WORLD CUP which the United States actually has a chance of hosting.  The last time the U.S. hosted the tournament was 16 years ago, but we finally have a chance to do it again.

The development and popularity of soccer in the U.S. has exploded recently and by 2018, the nation will be ready to host this great tournament.  BUT this can’t happen without YOUR help.  That’s why the United States Soccer Federation has created a website whose sole purpose is to garner the support of the American people.  All you have to do is visit http://www.gousabid.com/ and sign the petition.  With enough, people maybe, just maybe, we can bring the world’s greatest sporting event to our own backyard!  Good luck U.S.!

Sixteen years ago, the United States proudly hosted the FIFA World Cup™ despite criticism from many in the soccer world. Now, the ’94 FIFA World Cup™ is widely considered the most successful in FIFA’s history and is considered responsible for the soccer renaissance that followed in the USA, both on and off the field.
